17 Month old Mack & his 8 lb. bass

While I casted the pole, Mack did most of the rest. This little guy set the hook and actually reeled in the line till we got to the lilly pads where the bass became entangled. I had to help this lil' guy with that one.

We are here to provide you with a memorable everglades experience. 

The Jones family, has been on this land for over 74 years. In those years we have farmed the land, harvested the plentiful bounty of wildlife which God put here for all of us and operated as a fishing camp for most of that time . There have been severe droughts, which lasted several years, floods high enough to make our family sleep on the “top bunk” and fish kills often enough to put a major damper on the whole fish population. Some of the droughts have led to vast fires which we survived and in part due to the Division of Forestry.

Many times “Hollywood” found our establishment to be a perfect setting for their large productions.

The African Queen (Bogart, Hepburn); Cape Fear (DeNiro, Nolte, Lang)

Fair Game (Cindy Crawford) ; Wild Things I, II, III ;

Drop Zone (Wesley Snipes) ; All About The Benjamins (Ice Cube) AND MANY MORE!

Recently: The TV shows BONES and THE GLADES were shot here as well.

Our establishment offers amenities such as: ample area for bank fishing;

Olde time country store; a bridge to cross the Miami canal & explore by foot, bike, or even horse back; a boat ramp; a large pavilion to host your parties of up to 75 people; boat and motor rentals; grills and picnic tables; RV spaces, and much more.
